Poetry Month
For poetry month I took part in a fun cooperation between poets and artists. I was paired with Poet Val and together we came up with a concept for a poem and a matching piece of art. Our entry was called “Kintsugi: The Gift of Shatter”.
The painting is inspired by one of the gorgeous, fiery sunsets behind the so called “Twin Peaks” in my hometown of Longmont, Colorado. The art piece is acrylic on canvas. The canvas measures 16:” x 20, the framed piece 17” x 21”. The frame is natural wood. The painting is signed and dated on the backside.
